Adult refugees education in the light of Paulo Freire’s pedagogical theory

Abstract

This study aimed at examining the pedagogical frame of Paulo Freire’s theory in adult socially excluded groupseducation and especially refugees. Through a bibliographic research it examines whether the principles of the Paulo Freire’s theory reinforce the expectations and address the particular needs of socially excluded groups, such as refugees. More specifically, in relation to the structure of the paper in the beginning are presented the main fields of reference and the theoretical background of the study.It examines the concept and the need for adult education. Finally, it presents the characteristics of the refugees as trainees, while the paper concludes with a critical evaluation
