Abstract
The following project is focused on the phenomenon of school bullying and the characteristics of the (perpetrator) bully, the victim, the spectator and the role of teachers and parents. The main source of information is the Europe’s Anti-Bullying Campaign web site, which contains information on the phenomenon, records the general personality of the persons involved and provides advice to support them. The movie “In a better world” (Danish Production 2010 – Oscar Best Foreign Language Film 2011) is usedas an educational tool, which attempts to identify the characteristics of the bully, the victim, the viewer and the role of parents and teachers. The purpose of the project is to raise awareness of school bullying and to highlight the importance of disengaging pupils from the triangle victim-victim-viewer and the adoption of behaviors that shield them against bullying incidents. This project is suggested to be applied to high school students. As a method of implementation, the project is mainly based on dialogue with the pupils upon the scenes of the movie.
