This is an undeniable fact where diversity and heterogeneity are new concepts engaged in school environment. A critical question is, are teachers properly informed and pedagogically trained on how to meet the challenges of a new school? How their experiences affect positive attitudes or acceptance and how teaching approach addresses class diversity issues. As a consequence, what is or should be the role of Counseling in order support teachers’ role? These are some of the questions that have been raised in order to organize and carry out this research study.
Based on this view three school educators were asked to answer on how they address diversity issues by using visual representations. The teachers, as it is pointed out, tend to be sensitive on such issues and the use of visual representations helped them to emerge thoughts, views, feelings or practices related with diversity and heterogeneity perspectives.
