The role of Distributed Leadership in enhancing social justice in the school organization

Abstract

 

International Education Policy is linked to the vision of equal and solidarity but at the same time competitive education. In this context, there is also a need to apply leadership models that promote social justice. This article focuses on a brief presentation of the Distributed Leadership model in the school organization and its role in enhancing justice, pluralism and equal opportunities. After a bibliographic review and a critical study of relevant research, the advantages and disadvantages of this model, its role in the educational process and the context in which it is applied are presented. Finally, some concerns are raised as well as more general considerations and suggestions on this issue.
