Differentiated Teaching: Theory and Practice. Differentiating the curriculum and teaching objectives of the course of social skills for teaching students with mild educational needs.

Abstract

 

Teaching social skills to be under the daily instruction in the classroom, regardless of age or class. Many children with a deficit in this area benefit from differentiated teaching social skills. In inclusive backgrounds, pupils with special educational needs benefit from their peers in learning social skills through imitation model and interaction. In this study, a student with Down syndrome and a deficit in social skills involved in activities to improve learning – appropriate social skills, namely at the beginning of interaction with peers to establish friendly relations.
