Abstract
The aim of this publication is to disseminate the experience of image sonification, as a good practice for teaching Music in Secondary Education. Two cross-curricular projects are presented, concerning image sonification on impressionism, expressionism and avant-garde, which additionally exploit Information and Communication Technologies (I.C.T.). The projects were implemented at the Α΄ grade of Senior High School during the school years 2015-2016, 2016-17, 2017-18 and 2018-19. Firstly, a clarification and analysis of musical terms is attempted, followed by a presentation of audio and video editing software, which can be used in the context of digital audiovisual literacy. Subsequently, the methodology and the experience from the implementation are presented. Finally, the conclusions and proposals of the work are summarized.
