Abstract
Abortion, of course, is neither a simple nor a pleasant process, especially for the woman herself. There are many aspects to this topic and opinions are plenty and will always vary. The appearance in the subway of posters against abortion and its resonance, stimulated various discussions both inside and outside the classroom. In this article, we analyze not only the medical, legal, and ethical dimensions of the subject, but also record students’ reactions before, during, and after an educational visit to the University of Medical School of Alexandroupolis. This experiential learning has been attempted for our students so that they will be informed about abortion, they will cultivate empathy and responsibility, but also to indirectly realize the crucial importance of using methods of preventing sexually transmitted diseases and contraception methods.
