Abstract
During the recent years, the marginalization of students characterized as having special educational remains, despite the tremendous progress made in the field of education. Among the factors that can help to change the prevailing situation and turn it towards the inclusion of studentscharacterized as having special educational needs may be special education professionals (carers). For the purpose of this research, we used mixed methodology. The study was conducted in five Cypriot Secondary Schools. Totally, 153 persons participated in the research. The research results showed that special education professionals (carers) can support the efforts of the school community in order to create an inclusive culture.
