“Developing the capacity of Secondary Education Schools and teachers in order to improve learning through the Internet Learning Communities: The role of the State School Advisor”

Abstract

 

This paper presents the Internet Learning Communities, which are a way of training to solve many of the communicationand co-operation problems encountered in the learning environment. The purpose of this study is to investigate the role of the State School Advisor in developing the ability to improve the learning of school units and teachers of Secondary Education through the Internet Learning Communities. To this end, we study the concept of organizational learning, cultural learning, learning models, the creation of learning values and the theoretical context of the Internet Learning Communities. Furthermore, there are suggestions for developing the ability of schools (as a learning organization) and teachers to improve learning methods, as well as the design of an Internet Learning Community.From the data analysis it is clear that in order for an online learning environment to be developed, a combination of interactions is required. Consequently, the role and contribution of the State School Advisor is considered necessary, decisive and enforced when it comes to the improvement of learning methods and strategies and on top of that, cultural learning.
