Educational visits design and implementation with museumkits and new technologies in museums and cultural centers: An educative action case study in primary education

Abstract

 

The education’s upgrade is related to the teachers’ personal, academic and professional development. The museum is a place that can be incorporated within the teaching process, as long as the educational codes and conventions are rendered familiar to the educator. In this context, an educational action was implemented based upon the adult education methodologies, the heuristic path to knowledge, and the use of museum kits, educational software and the Internet. The reflective process initially highlighted the teachers’ positive attitude, on the one hand towards the training forms based upon adult education and on the other hand towards the integration of other cultural spaces of reference in their educational planning.
