Abstract
This paper presents a research in a sample of 960 pupils of secondary education of Central Macedonia and deals with the level of pupils’ political apathy. The findings of this research show a low level of political apathy; at least as the possibility to vote in the following elections is concerned. Also, it seems that pupils want to understand the political situation and that they believe that they should have an opinion about government deeds. Another finding is the fact of civic education lack which can be proved by the lack of knowledge about politics on behalf of the pupils.
