Abstract
The term “bullying” describes the procedures of intimidation, harassment and systematic victimization of children by their peers. The extent of bullying in the school environment are concerned educators and parents seeking ways to deal with it. This study seeks to inform, sensitize them and to contribute to the debate on tackling the phenomenon highlighting the typical clinical profile of abuser (bully) and suggesting ways to prevent and address the phenomenon in the school environment at three levels: a) at individual and incident level, b) to the class level, and c) at the level of the whole school.
