Outdoor experiential activities and game in the framework of Environmental Education

Abstract

There are several training methods and techniques used for the implementation of environmental education. The Centers for Environmental Education, as education institutions not only try to deepen the knowledge base, but also focus on the awareness of trainees on environmental issues. So they use experiential activities and games, as awareness is more effective when it has an effect on physical, mental and emotional world. In particular the experience derived from the practice of the individual involved, affects the cognitive sphere and it is processed, formed and consolidated through the emotion. Usually, what we love, we respect and protect it. In this way we try to shape attitudes, values and behaviors of tomorrow active citizens of our society.
