Abstract
The present teaching scenario was implemented in an infant school in Komotini in the context of the general working plan with shapes and designs. The aim of the scenario is that the children get to know the art of painting with shapes through the computer software and that then they proceed to comparisons to the conventional way of painting and drawing. We have mainly pursued both the enrichment of knowledge of the kids involved, the development of their cooperation in groups and the development of critical thinking along with an innovative and creative way to approach learning. The aim and the objectives were achieved. The kids have been familiarized with the potentials of ICT tools and software and the become better in using the former. They constructed knowledge in a cooperative manner and they had fun in the process.
