Communication between school and family for the confrontation of divergent student behaviour

Abstract

The role of the educator in a school unit, is related to many various levels. His main concern is to secure and cultivate the proper conditions for the cognitive improvement of students, their psycho-emotional development, their stability, as well as the creation of collective and cooperative spirit in a multicultural environment. In addition, the educator develops a significant role in the area of preventing and managing students’ divergent behaviours as well as in the area of effective communication with both parents and colleagues. In this paper the improper conduct of students is presented and also techniques of approaching parents are brought to notice in a way that the communication between the two sectors will be both honest and assisted at the same time by the positive environment of the school unit.
