Abstract
This paper discussesan approach to the teaching of grammatical mood to adolescents of the 2nd Grade of Greek Lower Secondary Education through the use of rhetorical play, not as oral debate between individuals or groups, but transferred to a digital environment using Google applications. The topic of the debate was the impact of social networks on human relationships and took place through the exchange of text messages on Google Hangouts. The experimental application was evaluated through students’ comments as well as teacher’s diary, and revealed that students were more motivated and involved in the process due to both the use of technology and the debate.
