School Crisis management

Abstract

The main purpose of this research is to investigate the perceptions of Secondary school teachers on school crisis management. To meet these objectives, qualitative research was conducted with semi – structured interviews in a sample of ten (10) Secondary school teachers in the prefecture of Thessaloniki. The research results revealed the lack of educational policy concerning teachers’ proficiency and training to handle school crisis. However, teachers are sufficiently informed about the subject due to personal interest. The research results can be used.
