To meet the growing need for change in education and the introduction of ICT (Information Technology and Telecommunications) in education, the Greek Ministry of Education launched in May 2008 a nationwide program of continuous training of teachers of the second level in the use and evaluation of educational ICT in classroom teaching. The author aims through research, evaluation, identification and analysis of the research results to promote ICT through the adoption of effective teaching methods, and reveal real changes in the behavior, profile and the overall attitude of teachers. Through the study it is clear that the development and enforcement of effective educational practices with the use of new technologies in teaching is inseparable from the recognition and successful treatment of the different characteristics of the teacher-trainees that occur during the training program.
