Suggestions on the integration of eTwinning platform to the teaching of foreign languages

Abstract

 

This paper describes the advantages of the eTwinning platform from foreign language teachers. The available web 2.0 tools offer a great many activities that could be integrated to the foreign language curriculum. They motivate students and teachers by collaborating with fellow students and teachers. This collaboration includes target setting, planning and other real life activities that are widely considered motivating. The learning to use the platform is easy and can be achieved in many ways (online instructions or seminars or by attending seminars held in various cities by the volunteer ambassadors. Teachers and students learn to use web 2.0 tools for educational purposes. In the end suggestions are offered for the use of the platform.
