Communicative relations of second foreign language teachers in primary education units

Abstract

A cornerstone in the school’s administrative work is the school leadership, where the principal plays a leading role as a key factor in the efficiency, fairness and effectiveness of school life to the maximum extent, and a basic condition of successful management is employee satisfaction. In this research we collected 216 questionnaires from primary-school teachers, as well as teachers of French and German in primary schools nationwide. Based on the questionnaire, the convergence or divergence of the views on issues that highlight the level of collaborative and communicative relations, the effectiveness of the educational project and any obstacles or difficulties are examined. The findings revealed a statistically significant difference between the two populations in terms of satisfaction, cooperation and participatory action in the vision of the educational project.
