Abstract
This thesis is a pioneering quantitative research in which IT and telecommunication companies based in Athens and Thessaloniki were involved. The study analyzes the ideal soft and hard skills of the potential candidates who seek job opportunities in this sector. My thesis aims at integration of ICT graduates and junior scientists into this field by providing useful information to them.
